Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna - Love Will Find a Way!

This is my version of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehnaa. Please bear with it. :)

Once upon a time, in Delhi, the capital of India, there lived a guy, called Small. He had an elder brother twelve years his senior, married, with two kids. The elder brother, Big, was very protective of his younger brother, Small, so much that he pampered the kid and spoiled him rotten.Small's mother wanted a daughter very badly, but as she had a son, she named him Pinky! Much to the frustration of the guy, his mum would dress him up in pink frocks and cute dresses. As he grew up nobody took him seriously. He grew frustrated and took to drinking, drugs and smoking. Eventually, Small wanted to leave home and live alone, as people at home were treating him like a child, though he was one. He travelled away from home, and got a great job in Nify Ltd.

He took up a house and started his new life. Small got many friends in the firm. He became fast friends with a girl called, Lady. Lady fell in love with Small, as she had studied in a girls school and had not been exposed to men in her life. But she never could express her love for Small. She became Small's best friend. Small eventually succumbed to Lady's charms and married her. But he never could love her, as she was never his true love. Lady was of a different caste and community. Small sat through many rituals and became one among the community people.

Lady and Small had a boy and a girl after 3 years of marriage. But Small was not satisfied. Lady was not the woman he wanted as a wife. She was very religious and never bothered to take care of him when she grew up in her career. Small grew more and more frustrated. He took to Hashish and Marijuana. He quit his job and took up swimming coaching at the nearby Five star hotel.

He got to meet many tourists and students. One such student was, Key. Key was on a world tour and was trying to run away from a bad relationship. Her lover, Day was a great guy, but had a villanous step-father. Day wanted Key to run away with him to Japan.

Small saw Key when she was looking down the swimming pool with large scared eyes. His heart went out to her and he felt something fluttering inside him. He promptly fell in love with her. After a few days of teaching Key the basics of swimming, Small tried his hand at wooing the girl. Key was in a bad shape and wanted a shoulder to cry on. She promptly took his outstretched hand. They became a pair overnight. Small went home and spewed venom on his poor wife, who took all this and served him dinner. His last dinner at home. She left him that night. Small never realised.

Small shifted with Key and they had a fabulous time together. After a few days Key got a call from Day, who begged her to return. She booked her tickets and flew out the next morning. Small felt left out and pouted for many days. Key was happy with Day and they decided to get married soon. Key eventually forgot about Small. For Key, Small had been just a time-pass, nothing more. She settled into her life and forgot about Small.

When Small had been having an affair with Key, Lady had started getting friendly with Godly. Godly was a nice man, a bachelor, who was Lady's neighbor and had been in love with her from childhood. He had been heartbroken when Lady had married a guy outside her community. Now that Lady had returned her favorable glances at him, Godly was very happy. He could see that Lady was unhappy with her wild husband and wanted out. One fine day after doing his Sandhya-Vandanam, Godly proposed to Lady, who accepted.

On the other hand, Small was feeling very dejected at being rejected and used by Key. He decided to mend his erring ways and return to his wife. After all he thought she would forgive him and accept him. He went home to find it locked. A note was stuck to the door. Small read the note and cried his heart out. He had lost everything in his life. His wife had sent him a divorce notice and had informed him that she was leaving him since she was fed up with his womanising and drug abuse habits. She was going to marry the bloke Godly who was their neighbor.

Small howled like a small child and drank like a pig. He injected himself 5 times, but his body refused to accept the dosage. The next morning, the owner of the house came and threw the bedraggled Small out of the house, sealed it and went away.

Moral of the Story: It is better to say ALVIDA to certain relations!
