Relationships: a price we pay for the thing called happiness

Relationships...between two friends, men and women, siblings, colleagues, anybody and everybody is the usual reason for issues. The main cause for any emotional upheaval or reactions is the overwhelming expectation that each one of us has from other people and from circumstances. Often, it is our own self that we are trying to salvage, nothing much.

In a love relationship, we look for things that excite our minds, fill gaps that exist in our current lives:  be it more intimacy, less fights, more friendship, more caring, less of negatives and more of positives. If humans came with spec sheets, we would be allowed to pick desirable attributes from humans and create a new personality, which would be the best! It doesn't happen that way, though, never.

Usually, in a spouse, we tend to find a culmination of characteristics that we have been seeing around us and in our minds create a picture of that perfect partner. There is no such thing as a perfect partner.

What are we all looking for anyway? Why this quest? Continuous hunger...to satiate the body, satiate the mind, look for that perfect connect, follow a spec sheet...what will happen if we don't? Pados waale Sharma ji is not going to come and help us to lead our lives.

Recently, I faced a unique experience. I will write about it soon.
